AIP-133: Boring Security - For The Long Haul! - Ecosystem Fund Allocation
ABSTRACT
Boring Security is a not-for-profit DAO that provides free classes, resources, and a place for everyone in NFTs and web3 to go to learn the things needed to stay secure. Boring Security answers the question in the space of “Where can I go to get high quality, vendor neutral, unbiased security information in the web3/NFT space?”.
OVERALL COST
Over the next year, we believe that Boring Security will become the central security hub for people in the NFT, crypto, and web3 communities. We have etched out a rough outline of how we believe we will be allocating the funds, along with what we will do with the proceeds. Although our DAO structure will, in time, allow for the voting and direction of some of these funds, our initial budget has the breakdown of the requested funds as follows:
[Funds Requested from Apecoin DAO] [Funds Expected from Supporter NFT]
$420,696.9 Estimated Proceeds $170,000
~$590,696.9
Funds Requested from Apecoin DAO Breakdown (~$420,696.9):
- $380,000 for UNIv3 Deployment Strategy
- $26,109.41 to pay back Boring Consulting (Feld) for out-of-pocket expenses
- $13,987.49 Immediate Partnerships and promotion use (Ledger, etc.)
We plan to reach out to other communities and partners to generate funds from our Supporter NFT (more information on supporter (grid) NFT can be found at https://boringsecurity.murall.art). These funds will be added to UNIv3 and bring the total funds for our deployment strategy to $550,000.

AIP-142: Establish Communication Team (ApeComms) - Ecosystem Fund Allocation
ABSTRACT
This proposal puts in place a Comms Team to establish communication channels in order to increase the flow of news, information and educational content within the ApeCoin ecosystem - working group name, ApeComms.
Recent Twitter posts and proposals regarding council elections, staking delays, bug bounties, etc have highlighted the need for clear, concise and consistent communications between the Special Council, Ape Foundation and the ApeCoin DAO.
The ApeComms team will administer information between the community, the Ape Foundation, and related entities and serve to increase Awareness, Participation, and Education of token holders by curating new channels for communication.

ABSTRACT
For the ApeCoin DAO to function and remain stable according to our Guiding Principles, there must be a system in place for continuous governance. This document outlines the process to allow talented, passionate and capable members of the community to surface and ultimately be appointed via governance vote for the Special Council. The nomination pool will be sourced through the community, administration team, and token holders by self-nomination in ApeCoin discourse.

AIP-134: Bug Bounty Program for AIP-21 - Process
ABSTRACT
As we near the launch of the ApeCoin staking system outlined in AIP-21 and AIP-22, we propose taking additional measures to ensure the DAO is following smart contract security best practices. This proposal uses treasury assets to fund a 1 million $APE bug bounty program with Immunefi, and partners with Llama to help design, implement, and run operations of these initiatives.
This proposal would go into effect ahead of staking rewards beginning to accrue with AIP-21. The smart contract for AIP-21 is currently live on testnet so the bug bounty program can go into effect shortly after the AIP passes.
This proposal will delay staking rewards by roughly 3 weeks. If this proposal passes, staking rewards would begin accruing on 12/7, rather than 11/14. Though the 3 week delay is unfortunate it is vastly preferable to a security breach as a result of not following security best practices. We believe it is very beneficial for the DAO to approve this program.

AIP-94: A pilot episode for Otherside animated anthology - Brand Decision
ABSTRACT
Imagine a “Love, Death & Robots” like anthology, but each episode happenes on a random plot of land from the Otherside world. Each plot of land is like a small parallel universe with it’s own environment and rules based on it’s traits. Main characters are from the APE ecosystem. Each season or episode has a different style and genre.
For the pilot I am thinking about a horror style with a BAYC character as a charismatic antagonist.

AIP-93: A Marketplace for Apes, by Apes, built by Magic Eden - Brand Decision
ABSTRACT
Building a world class, low-fee marketplace for apes, by apes, powered by ApeCoin and run on the ApeCoin.com 51 domain:
Magic Eden’s vision is to build the ApeCoinDAO marketplace, the home for $APE holders to buy and sell ApeCoinDAO NFTs, including but not limited to BAYC, MAYC and BAKC, as well as Otherside Otherdeeds. All inside of the DAO’s native home at a 0.75% transaction fee and no cost to the DAO. The marketplace strives to be the place where ApeCoinDAO members can share experiences and utility across the most powerful community in NFTs. Features include: combo ETH / APE bidding, discounts for APE payments, merch functionality, and custom engineering & marketing resources. Subject to approval of this AIP, future AIPs may propose a fee split between Magic Eden and ApeCoinDAO to create a revenue stream for the community as well as Launchpad capabilities, positioning the marketplace as a platform for DAO members to launch their own projects.

AIP-87: NFT + IP Marketplace / Yuga Labs + Otherside Partner NFT Collections - Ecosystem Fund Allocation
ABSTRACT
We believe in the following:
- To achieve the goal of growing the ApeCoin ecosystem, a core focus should be on increasing its use as a form of payment. Even within a bear market, NFT sales/trading continues to be one of the largest crypto-native economies.
- Projects should have their own marketplace, and the time is now for Yuga Labs & Otherside Partner NFT collections to have our own.
- It is time for a NFT Marketplace to evolve and serve the needs of the larger NFT economy. One that expands beyond the sale of NFTs but includes additional components like Intellectual Property.
We also believe actions speak louder than words. Instead of offering to build a marketplace, we built one first. It is currently live on the temporary URL: apecoin.x.xyz with the IP marketplace going live if the proposal passes. This allows the community to try the marketplace before voting.

AIP-98: A Community-First ApeCoin DAO Marketplace Proposal - Brand Decision
ABSTRACT
A community marketplace is a natural next step for the ApeCoin DAO. A successful community marketplace will: drive adoption of $APE through $APE listings, drive traffic to the ApeCoin DAO (apecoin.com), and decrease fees to community members by building a APE-native marketplace with rich ape-specific user experiences. In order to compete this marketplace must be cost competitive with fees in-line with or lower than competitors like X2Y2.
Our marketplace will host all Yugaverse projects in a single marketplace UI, with dramatically reduced fees, keeping $$ in the BAYC ecosystem and improving the marketplace experience for both buyers and sellers.
While we have a lot to share, some notable key features of the marketplace are the following:
- Leveraging @reservoir0x’s open-source, on-chain orderbook to increase openness and composability.
- Aggregated orders from major marketplaces (OpenSea, LooksRare, X2Y2, Sudoswap, and more) to maintain a strong bridge to the rest of the NFT market.
- Native sales in $APE with no fees to users buying and selling in $APE.
- A .5% marketplace fee on $ETH listings and a .25% fee in $APE. .25% of all fees will be sent to a community-held multi-sig wallet on a monthly cadence. The use of funds can then be decided in a separate AIP. (more on why later) The .25% from $ETH will be converted to $APE and sent to the wallet.
- Development of contextual and ape-specific marketplace functionality, such as integration of key BAYC metadata, relation to the Otherside, and more.

AIP-113: Extending AIP-1 - the DAO Process - Process
ABSTRACT
The DAO’s operations rely on the Ape Foundation, which serves as a steward for ApeCoin by empowering the community to lead the DAO and helping to execute its vision. The terms of the Foundation’s relationship with the DAO were established on a six-month basis in AIP-1. That six-month period will conclude on September 30, and absent any alternative process for continuing the DAO’s operations, will bring with it the risk that the DAO falls into a vulnerable period during which it lacks actionable operational procedures. This AIP proposes a three-month extension of the terms laid out in AIP-1 to (1) provide time for the development of a proper and thorough Ape Foundation election framework and process; (2) allow the community to better understand and ultimately engage with whatever process emerges; and (3) enable the DAO to continue functioning coherently beyond September 30.

AIP-29: APECoin DAO Proposal for Ape Drops Marketplace - Brand Decision
ABSTRACT
This proposal is for receiving financial support from the APECoin DAO for Ape Drops. The project’s goal is to become a curated NFT platform for the Ape community. At full operational capacity, Ape Drops will release multiple curated NFT drops a week from the best designers and musicians in the space. Funds will go towards building a larger team and financing NFT drops and events with high profile artists. We will only receive funds from the DAO when we reach key milestones.

AIP-21: Staking Process with Caps (1x drop) - Process
ABSTRACT
After the vote against AIP-4&5, the community had meaningful discussions on the ApeCoin DAO forum and elsewhere. The essential feedback was that overall the framework was fine, but lacked the key element of caps.
This AIP proposes a staking system for ApeCoin and the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT ecosystem: Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), and Bored Ape Kennel Club (BAKC). Staking participants will be able to stake ApeCoin and use the Bored Ape Yacht Club ecosystem NFTs to receive ApeCoin from a preset pool over a set period of time.
